Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly ready to rival Manchester United in the race to sign Leicester City midfielder James Maddison next summer.

Tottenham Hotspur are allegedly ready to rival Manchester United in the race to sign Leicester City midfielder James Maddison.

After making a huge impression since his arrival at the King Power Stadium in 2018, the 22-year-old is being heavily linked with a switch to Old Trafford next summer.

Leicester boss Brendan Rodgers has acknowledged that the playmaker could be sold in the future, despite just under four years remaining on his contract.

However, talkSPORT has named Spurs has another potential destination for Maddison, who could potentially act as a replacement for Christian Eriksen.

Given that Leicester were able to recoup £80m for Harry Maguire, Maddison is likely to cost in excess of £60m should he leave the East Midlands outfit.
