Danny Welbeck rewarded with new contract?

Striker Danny Welbeck reportedly agrees a new five-year contract at Manchester United.

Danny Welbeck has agreed a new contract to keep him at Manchester United for five more years, according to reports.

The England striker has reportedly been delaying putting pen to paper on a new deal because he wanted to be given an improved wage after his impressive performances last season.

The Daily Mail has claimed that the 21-year-old will now be given a £75k-a-week contract, and the club are expected to confirm the agreement later this week.

Welbeck's new deal is also expected to include incentives based on his future success at Old Trafford.
