On the other hand, Bordeaux's first game of the 2020-21 campaign ended in a goalless stalemate with Nantes last weekend.

Despite being forced to play with 10 men for over 70 minutes against Nantes, Bordeaux's defence did incredibly well to preserve their side's clean sheet on the opening day. Les Phoceens' opening fixture against Saint-Etienne was postponed due to a coronavirus outbreak, while Brest were thumped 4-0 by Nimes on matchday one.

Lyon and Marseille are realistically the only sides that can challenge PSG for the title this term. If that is to be the case, Villas-Boas's men simply cannot afford to slip up in games such as this one, and we are not expecting that to be the case.
