Marseille have moved level on points with Ligue 1 leaders Paris Saint-Germain thanks to a narrow 1-0 win over Saint-Etienne at the Stade Velodrome.

The victory has seen Elie Baup's side join PSG and second-placed Lyon on 38 points at the halfway stage of the season.

The only goal of the game came on the stroke of half time as Andre Ayew headed in Rod Fanni's cross.

Marseille resume their league duties with a trip to Sochaux on Sunday, January 13.
