Marseille maintain a 100% record in Ligue 1 with a 2-0 victory over Sochaux.

Second-half goals from Andre-Pierre Gignac and Rod Fanni have helped Marseille to their second win of the new Ligue 1 campaign.

The hosts bossed the game from the first whistle, and could have taken the lead twice inside the first 45 minutes.

Gignac wasted a great opportunity after finding some space inside the box, but his weak left-footed effort was saved by Pierrick Cros.

The deadlock was finally broken in the 54th minute, when Gignac headed home from Benoit Cheyrou's corner.

Fanni made sure of the points in the last minute by tapping in from close range.
