Tony Mowbray makes six changes to his Middlesbrough lineup from the 2-0 defeat against Bristol City.

Six players have returned to Middlesbrough's lineup for today's visit of Birmingham City.

Boro lost 2-0 to Bristol City last week and Tony Mowbray has taken the chance to shake up his team.

He names Justin Hoyte, Andre Bikey, Grant Leadbitter, Lukas Jutkiewicz and Adam Reach to an attacking team at the Riverside.

Wes Thomas partners Nikola Zigic in attack for the Blues, and they will be supported down the flanks by Wade Elliott and Nathan Redmond.

Middlesbrough: Steele, Hoyte, Friend, Bikey, Woodgate, Haroun, Leadbitter, McDonald, Jutkiewicz, Ameobi, Reach

Birmingham: Butland, Caddis, Davies, Robinson, Ferguson, Redmond, Morrison, Spector, Elliott, Thomas, Zigic
