David Clarkson makes Motherwell return

David Clarkson joins Keith Lasley, Steven Hammel and Stephen Pearson in linking up with former side Motherwell.

David Clarkson has become the fourth player to make a return to Motherwell this summer following his release by Dundee.

The 29-year-old, who started his playing career at Fir Park, scored in his first eight games with the Dees last term.

However, having not been offered fresh terms by Paul Hartley, the striker has now joined Keith Lasley, Steven Hammell and Stephen Pearson in re-signing for the Scottish Premiership side.

Clarkson found the net 56 times during his previous seven-year stint at Motherwell, before leaving for Bristol City.
