Rafael Benitez "not surprised" by Napoli victory

Rafael Benitez says that Napoli's 3-0 win over Bologna on Sunday was no shock.

Napoli manager Rafael Benitez has admitted that his side's comfortable win over Bologna came as no shock to him on Sunday.

The Naples outfit brushed aside the Rossoblu 3-0 at the Stadio San Paolo thanks to a Marek Hamsik brace and a goal from Jose Callejon.

Napoli enjoyed a strong pre-season and recruited a number of new signings, which Benitez feels contributed to the victory.

"I'm not surprised at the result today. I saw the team throughout the week and they played very well," Benitez told reporters.

"We don't think about Juventus at this stage, we only think about ourselves. We changed a few players from last season's team but they did just fine and now we can look ahead."

Along with Callejon, Gonzalo Higuain, Pepe Reina and Raul Albiol all joined Napoli this summer.
