Rafael Benitez praises Napoli's "quality performance"

Rafael Benitez praises Napoli's players following their victory over AC Milan on Sunday night.

Napoli manager Rafael Benitez has praised his side after they came from behind to beat AC Milan in Serie A.

The Partenopei went a goal down early on at the Stadio San Paolo, courtesy of Adel Taarabt's debut strike.

Gokhan Inler pulled Napoli level soon after, before Gonzalo Higuain's brace ensured that the hosts picked up all three points to get their Champions League charge back on track.

"I have to compliment the whole side," Benitez told Sky Sport Itallia.

"Of course Higuain is a player that can make the difference, but he still needs his teammates. It was a quality performance from us and we had the right intensity."

The victory ensures Napoli remain three points ahead of Fiorentina, who are directly below them in the Serie A table.
