Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain has told his team's fans to "remain calm" with regards to speculation about his future at the Stadio San Paolo, but refuses to elaborate.
The 28-year-old wrote his name in the Serie A history books by scoring 36 goals in 35 league games last season, but he is said to be on the radar of a number of clubs including Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain and Atletico Madrid.
Higuain, whose Argentina team have reached the semi-finals of the Copa America, told reporters: "All those people in Naples must remain calm. I'm calm, but now I'm just thinking about the national team. We're just one step away from the final."
The French-born striker started his career at Argentine giants River Plate before moving to Real Madrid in 2007, and subsequently joined the Partenopei in 2013.
