Saturday's Major League Soccer predictions including New England Revolution vs. New York Red Bulls

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Major League Soccer fixtures, including New England Revolution vs. New York Red Bulls.

The New England Revolution can win consecutive MLS encounters for the first time this year when they host the New York Red Bulls on Saturday at Gillette Stadium.

Despite a 2-1 victory over Nashville SC, the Revolution are still at the bottom of the Eastern Conference table, while the Red Bulls are fourth in the conference following a 1-0 victory over Orlando City.

We say: New England Revolution 1-1 New York Red Bulls

The Revs showed plenty of improvements against Nashville, and we believe they will carry that momentum into this match and earn a point against a side missing some quality chance creators.

Minnesota Utd vs. Dallas (Sunday, 1.30am)

Minnesota United can stretch their home unbeaten run in MLS to five matches when they host Dallas on Saturday at Allianz Field.

Thanks to a 3-1 victory over Sporting Kansas City, the Loons are third in the Western Conference with 28 points, 15 above Dallas, who are 12th following a 1-0 loss to Los Angeles FC.

We say: Minnesota United 1-0 Dallas

Despite being severely short-handed for this encounter, Ramsay has proven to be a strong tactician, and we believe he has enough resources to defeat a Dallas side who are low on confidence and struggling to find solutions in the attacking third.

Kansas vs. Seattle (Sunday, 1.30am)

Two former powerhouse teams from years past in the Western Conference will square off on Saturday at Children's Mercy Park as Sporting Kansas City host the Seattle Sounders.

Both sides have struggled in the 2024 MLS campaign, particularly KC, who are at the bottom of the Western Conference table following a 3-1 defeat to Minnesota United, while the Sounders played to a 1-1 draw with Real Salt Lake and are two points below the playoff line.

We say: Sporting Kansas City 1-1 Seattle Sounders

Sooner or later, when you are as close as SKC have been in most of their matches this season, you catch a break, and we believe that will come for the home side this weekend in the form of a single point.

St Louis City vs. Portland (Sunday, 1.30am)

A victory this weekend could put St Louis City within striking distance of a playoff spot as they continue their MLS campaign on Saturday against the Portland Timbers at CityPark.

Last Saturday, St Louis failed to hang onto three separate leads in a 3-3 draw with Inter Miami, putting them three points below Portland for that final Western Conference post-season berth, with the latter claiming a 2-2 result versus the Houston Dynamo.

We say: St Louis City 2-2 Portland Timbers

Both sides have an array of quality individuals, though neither have been all that strong defensively, with each struggling to maintain leads throughout the campaign.

When you combine all of those elements, an entertaining draw seems to be a likely scenario for this upcoming fixture.
