Newcastle United's new signing Papiss Cisse has insisted that the chance to play with Demba Ba was a huge draw in his decision to sign for the club.
Cisse, 26, completed his move to the Magpies on Tuesday in a £10m deal, and he has admitted that he cannot wait to line up alongside his Senegalese teammate.
"Demba has had a brilliant season and it can only get better. It is going to be a great honour to play with him," Cisse told The Sun.
"He's a simply fantastic player and I think we are going to make a formidable partnership – one we hope will get the fans excited. There were other clubs interested, but the moment Newcastle showed their interest there was only one place for me."
Newcastle continue their league campaign against Fulham on Saturday afternoon.
