Newcastle United midfielder Hatem Ben Arfa insists that he is "100% fit" for the club's last four games of the season.

Newcastle United midfielder Hatem Ben Arfa has revealed that he is "100% fit" for the club's final few games of the season.

The Frenchman has drifted in and out of the Magpies team due to a hamstring injury, but the 26-year-old is ready to help retain Newcastle's Premier League status.

"My hamstring is completely fine now and I feel happy that the injury has gone and I can return to full fitness," Ben Arfa said in the club's match-day programme ahead of their game against Liverpool. "I am 100% fit.

"I'm happy that I have come back into the team slowly and gradually. The manager and the doctor have put in place a programme to ensure I return gradually rather than rush back and get further problems in the future."

Newcastle are six points away from relegation with four matches left to play.
