West Ham United will make a £10m offer for Liverpool striker Andy Carroll this summer.

West Ham United have reportedly lined up a £10m offer for Liverpool striker Andy Carroll.

The 24-year-old, who has scored five goals in 17 appearances on loan at Upton Park this season, is no longer believed to have a future at Anfield, and could be shipped out this summer.

There is a £17m fee agreed between the two clubs as part of the loan agreement, but the Daily Mail reports that the Hammers will attempt to renegotiate the terms.

However, the Reds are said to be unwilling to let him go for less than that amount, and instead favour a swap deal with Newcastle United that would involve Hatem Ben Arfa arriving on Merseyside.

Carroll joined Liverpool from the Magpies in a deal worth £35m in 2011.
