Newcastle United midfielder Moussa Sissoko has called on his teammates to bounce back from their defeat to Manchester United to end their season on a high note.
The Magpies succumbed to a 1-0 loss to the Red Devils as Ashley Young struck in the 89th minute at St James' Park.
However, Sissoko feels that his side played well enough to earn a point in the match, and is optimistic that John Carver's men can get back on track against Everton next week.
He told the club's official website: "When you play against the big teams you have to play your best and of course one point would have been better than nothing.
"We as a team are very hungry to score and to win but we need to learn about these big games and we need to go forward and try to win the next one.
"Our team objective remains to finish in the top ten this season. To play at Everton [next time out] will not be easy but we are going there for the win so we can come back with three points."
Newcastle are 11th in the Premier League, with 35 points from their 28 matches this season.
