Newcastle's Hatem Ben Arfa open Paris Saint-Germain switch

Newcastle midfielder Hatem Ben Arfa says that it would be a "dream" to play for Paris Saint-Germain.

Newcastle United midfielder Hatem Ben Arfa has revealed that he would like to play for Paris Saint-Germain in the future.

The France international has insisted that he is "fine" at St James's Park and is determined to help pull the club out of their dismal season but has suggested that the lure of PSG would be difficult to turn down.

"I am under contract with Newcastle and I'm fine," Ben Arfa told Le Parisien, according to The Mirror. "First, I must save my club. I only think of that.

"Help my team and my coach, with whom I get along great. We really want to fight for him. Once we have saved the club, you never know.

"To sign for PSG would be a childhood dream. If there is a proposal, I will study it with interest. If there is a proposal. The 'if' is important."

Ben Arfa's admission comes days after defender Fabricio Coloccini reportedly expressed his desire to return to South America.
