Peter Lovenkrands has revealed that he is keen to remain in the Premier League following his release from Newcastle United.
The Danish international has been told by Magpies boss Alan Pardew that he is surplus to requirements following a three-year stint on Tyneside.
Despite being linked with a return to his homeland, the 32-year-old has expressed his desire to stay in England.
"The goal is to play in the Premier League next season, too," Lovenkrands told Sporten.dk. "There have already been some enquiries, therefore I am hopeful for the future."
The striker scored 29 goals for Newcastle.
