Newcastle United 'lining up Jarrod Bowen offer'

Newcastle United are reportedly preparing an offer for Hull City attacker Jarrod Bowen.

The 23-year-old, who has previously been linked with Tottenham Hotspur, has scored 17 times in 29 appearances for the Tigers this season, including 16 in the Championship.

Leeds United have allegedly made an offer for the Englishman as Whites boss Marcelo Bielsa looks to boost his options in the final third of the field.

However, according to The Telegraph, Newcastle are now preparing to make 'a firm bid' for a player said to be valued in the region of £22m by his current club.

Bowen, who has just 18 months left to run on his contract at the KCOM Stadium, has netted 54 times in 128 appearances for the Tigers in all competitions.

Only Bournemouth, Crystal Palace and Watford have scored fewer Premier League goals than Newcastle (21) during the 2019-20 campaign.
