Norwich City striker Grant Holt believes that he should be named in the England squad for Euro 2012.
Newly-appointed Three Lions boss Roy Hodgson will select a 23-man party for the championships in Poland and Ukraine on Wednesday, and Holt thinks that he should be included based on current form.
"If it goes on form and goes on goals over the last season then I won't be far off," Holt told talkSPORT. "I think I've done enough. I think if anyone was there watching me at the Emirates at the weekend, the way the team played and myself personally, then I won't be far off.
"People keep saying that I haven't done it at the highest level. Can they name me a better league than the English Premier League to play against the best defenders in the world? I don't know one.
"There has been a lot of talk, there's a lot of people speculating and a lot of people asking me about it but it's up to Roy who he picks."
Holt has scored 16 goals in 37 appearances for the Canaries this season.
