Norwich City manager Chris Hughton has expressed his delight at capturing the services of Sebastien Bassong from Tottenham Hotspur.
The Cameroon international committed his future to the Canaries earlier today by signing a three-year contract with the Norfolk-based side.
Discussing his latest recruit, Hughton said that he has added a player that will improve his defensive options.
"Sebastien is a player that I have known well since my time at Newcastle and I'm delighted to have brought in someone with the Premier League experience he has got," Hughton told the club's official website.
"He will give us power and pace at the back and again add to the competition in the squad."
Hughton's Norwich will take on Queens Park Rangers this weekend.
