Cameron Jerome praises "attack-minded" Neil Adams

Norwich City striker Cameron Jerome believes that Neil Adams is the "most attack-minded manager" that he has ever played for.

Cameron Jerome has revealed that Neil Adams is the "most attack-minded manager" that he has played for throughout his football career.

The striker, who joined Norwich City from Stoke City during the summer, had played for the likes of Alex McLeish and Tony Pulis prior to his move to Carrow Road.

The 28-year-old told the Norfolk Eastern Daily Press: "I would say he is probably the most attack-minded manager I have played under in terms of the way he sets up a team.

"It is perhaps a little bit more difficult to do that if you are not one of the bigger clubs in the Premier League. You can't fire with fire when you are playing Chelsea and Arsenal every week because you just can't win so it's different in that respect but the manager here is very confident in these players.

"I noticed that straight away. He believes in them and he tells us to go out and express ourselves and play good football. That is his philosophy. He gives certain players licence to hurt oppositions but he also wants a high work-rate without the ball."

Jerome has scored four goals in as many appearances for Norwich this season, including a brace against Brentford earlier this week.
