Bradley Johnson has hit back at Joey Barton after the Queens Park Rangers captain was sent off for appearing to headbutt the Norwich midfielder during the Canaries' 2-1 win yesterday.
Barton was given the straight red by referee Neil Swarbrick and later took to Twitter to claim that the match officials had been "conned".
A picture of Johnson later appeared on the social networking site showing him holding a sign that read: "Barton your breath stinks."
The picture was apparently taken at the PDC World Championship at Alexandra Palace in London.
QPR boss Neil Warnock has said that he is considering appealing the red card decision.
