Norwich defender Russell Martin has admitted that it is vital the club quickly learn their lesson in the Premier League.
The Canaries were well beaten by Arsenal last weekend despite the closeness of the 2-1 result, but Martin has stated that Norwich cannot afford to give up their attacking approach.
"You get punished at this level. Robin van Persie is in the form of his life at the moment and he is one of the best players in the world," said Martin.
"But we move on and learn a lesson from it. We need to defend better. If we get back to a solid base we'll win games."
