Young Norwich City striker Carlton Morris has said that he is elated after he made his first-team debut last week.
Morris came off the bench to play for 13 minutes in the Canaries' home defeat to Wigan Athletic last Tuesday, and he said that he was "buzzing" to get on the pitch.
He told the club website: "I'd been waiting nine years for that so it was a great feeling to get on the pitch at Carrow Road.
"It was mixed emotions as we lost but there was still the elation of making my debut in a massive year for the club as we try to bounce back to the Premier League. I found out I was going to be in the matchday squad a couple of days before, which gave me a couple of days to think.
"I was buzzing but you've just got to relax and have as much confidence in yourself as you can. It was all about getting used to a first-team occasion but was very enjoyable. The aim is to not just be another body but to make a positive impact on the team. Whenever I'm called upon, I'll be ready."
Norwich currently sit fifth in the Championship table.
