Nottingham Forest call press conference to announce managerial situation

Nottingham Forest call a press conference for 12.30pm on Thursday to make an announcement regarding their managerial situation.

Nottingham Forest will hold a press conference this afternoon to make an announcement regarding the managerial situation at the Championship club.

Forest have been searching for a new manager following the club's decision to sack Billy Davies last week.

Former England Under-21 boss Stuart Pearce has been widely tipped to take the reins at the City Ground, despite initially rejecting the role due to personal reasons.

Widespread reports have claimed that Pearce will be announced as Forest's new manager at 12.30pm today, but will wait until the end of the season to take charge, which means that Gary Brazil will see out the remaining seven games of the campaign.

The club are currently seventh, two points adrift of a playoff spot in the league table.
