Nottingham Forest manager Alex McLeish refuses to talk about his future following Saturday's 2-1 defeat at former club Birmingham in the Championship.

Nottingham Forest manager Alex McLeish has refused to comment on his future following Saturday's 2-1 defeat at former club Birmingham City in the Championship.

Reports suggested on Thursday night that the Scot was ready to walk out on the club over a transfer dispute with chairman Fawaz Al Hasawi.

"I am not commenting," McLeish told Sky Sports News. "I only want to talk about the game.

"There is no meeting planned with the chairman, Fawaz Al Hasawi. He was at the training ground on Friday. That will remain private.

"There is no problem with communication but I have no wish to make any comment other than about the game."

Saturday's defeat saw Forest slip down to 11th place in the Championship table.
