Notts County snap up Mawouna Amevor

Former Go Ahead Eagles defender Mawouna Amevor signs for League Two outfit Notts County.

League Two side Notts County have completed the signing of Togolese international defender Mawouna Amevor.

The 23-year-old centre-back has signed a two-year deal at Meadow Lane.

Amevor, who can also play at right-back, had spent the last two years in the Netherlands with Go Ahead Eagles, where he scored two goals in 35 appearances.

Despite being born in the Netherlands, Amevor made his international debut for Togo in 2014, and now has three caps for his country.
