Oxford United sign French midfielder Jeremy Balmy

Oxford United sign French midfielder Jeremy Balmy following a successful trial at the League Two club.

Oxford United have confirmed the signing of French midfielder Jeremy Balmy after a successful trial at the club.

The 20-year-old has penned a deal until the end of the season.

Balmy had been on trial at the Kassam Stadium for the past two weeks following his release by Notts County.

"He has a lot of potential," manager Michael Appleton told the club's official website. "He has a good attitude, has fitted in straight away and deserves the chance to impress us over a longer period."

Oxford, who are currently in 15th place in the League Two table, are back in action tomorrow night when they travel to Accrington Stanley.
