Charlton Athletic teenager Tareiq Holmes-Dennis has had his loan extended at Oxford United until the end of the season.
The 19-year-old left-back joined the U's in October, initially until January, and has made 12 starts without being subbed off in League Two and the FA Cup.
"People forget that he hadn't played a senior game at all until he came here but he has slotted straight in and been excellent," Oxford boss Michael Appleton told the club website.
"Now we look forward to seeing him continue to progress over a longer period."
Holmes-Dennis's contract with parent club Charlton expires at the end of this season.
