A George Boyd double has given Peterborough United a 2-0 lead over Huddersfield Town at half-time.
Saido Berahino had the first meaningful chance for Peterborough, but he was unable to find the target after just five minutes.
Huddersfield started to come into the game and it was somewhat against the run of play when Boyd netted his first with a shot in the 16th minute.
Boyd was becoming the most influential player on the pitch and just eight minutes after his first he again found the target to give Peterborough a 2-0 win.
Jermaine Beckford could have brought Huddersfield back into the game just two minutes later, but his shot from an angle went over the bar.
Daniel Ward then had an effort for the visitors, but he could not beat Robert Olejnik in the Peterborough goal and it was comfortable for the goalkeeper.
Olejnik was again worked with five minutes of the half to play - this time Beckford hit the target but it was held by the stopper.
