Peterborough United manager Darren Ferguson has revealed that he does not like working with the club's director of football Barry Fry.
Fry has stated that Ferguson held talks with Nottingham Forest during the summer over their vacant managerial job, but Ferguson has revealed that he believes Fry is attempting to undermine him.
Ferguson told the Peterborough Evening Telegraph: "I have not spoken to Fry about it, but I do not like working with him. For one reason or another, he is a permanent fixture at this club, so I just get on with things.
"I suspect that he is trying to undermine me with the fans and force me to resign.
"If that is the case, he is going to be disappointed. He has tried these underhand things before."
Peterborough are currently bottom of the Championship table.
