Benfica vs. Portimonense (Tuesday, 6.00pm)

Benfica entertain Portimonense on Tuesday evening in the Primeira Liga as the hosts attempt to keep pace with the leading pack at the top of the table.

Jorge Jesus's side are currently two points behind league leaders Sporting Lisbon and two ahead of fierce rivals Porto in what is shaping up to be an exciting title race in Portugal.

We say: Benfica 3-0 Portimonense

The gulf in class between the two sides should show on Tuesday, with Benfica running out comfortable winners. Despite Jesus's side suffering from injuries and a coronavirus outbreak, they should have too much quality for a Portimonense side stuck at the bottom of the table.

Moreirense vs. Santa Clara (Tuesday, 6.45pm)

Moreirense entertain Santa Clara in the Primeira Liga on Tuesday evening, with the hosts looking to end a run of five games without a win in the league.

The visitors have also had a tough time of late, though, after losing three of their last four Primeira Liga encounters.

We say: Moreirense 1-1 Santa Clara

It should be an evenly contested affair on Tuesday between two sides desperate to turn their recent fortunes around. A draw would be a decent result for both teams, and they could settle for a point apiece.

Vitoria de Guimaraes host Porto in the Primeira Liga on Tuesday night with both sides looking to extend their good run of form.

The visitors got their hands on the Portuguese Super Cup last time out, but that victory will not intimidate a Guimaraes side currently enjoying a three-game winning streak in the league.

We say: Vitoria de Guimaraes 1-2 Porto

It should be a close encounter on Tuesday between two quality sides fighting it out in the upper echelons of the division. Porto have overcome a slow start by their high standards to hit some incredible recent form and are likely to be too just strong for Vitoria Guimaraes on this occasion.
