Portugal boss Paulo Bento has said that his side's goalless draw against Macedonia was "a fair result".
Bento, whose side dominated possession from start to finish, admits that he was disappointed with the result. However, he adds that his team's main focus was to test what the group had been working on in training.
"What we wanted was to test what we had worked on during the week," he told RTP.
"We felt a lot of difficulties in the first half, in which we were somewhat slow. In the second session, we tried to up the pace, but we were struggling to make the final pass.
"In terms of what we did and the resilience Macedonia showed, this was a fair result."
Portugal play their final friendly against Turkey on Saturday.
