How Paris Saint-Germain could line up against Napoli

Sports Mole looks at how Paris Saint-Germain could line up for Wednesday's Champions League Group C showdown with Napoli.

Paris Saint-Germain will look to make it 13 wins from 14 games so far this season when they welcome Napoli to the Parc des Princes in Group C of the Champions League on Wednesday night.

Thomas Tuchel's side have scored a whopping 49 goals already this season - including 16 in their last three outings - to make a perfect start with 10 wins from 10 in Ligue 1.

However, the only blot on their copybook so far came at the hands of Liverpool in the Champions League, and another defeat to their former manager Carlo Ancelotti could leave them with work to do in the second half of the group-stage campaign.

Here, Sports Mole looks at how Tuchel could line his side up against the Serie A outfit.

Doubtful: Marco Verratti (hamstring)

PSG are expected to be without Marco Verratti for this match after the combative midfielder was taken off at half time of their win over Amiens due to a suspected hamstring injury.

The hosts could otherwise be close to full strength, though, with Presnel Kimpembe free to return after missing out at the weekend due to suspension and Brazilian duo Thiago Silva and Neymar also in line for a start having been rested.

Neymar will make his 50th Champions League appearance and goes into the game having scored a hat-trick in the 6-1 rout of Red Star Belgrade on matchday two.

The world-record signing has been outshone by the prodigious Kylian Mbappe this season, though, and the youngster was on target again at the weekend to take his tally to nine goals in just six Ligue 1 appearances.

Such is the teenager's form that even Edinson Cavani facing his most notable former club is forced down the billing, with the Uruguayan having scored 78 goals in 104 Serie A games for Napoli.
