Paris Saint-Germain's Carlo Ancelotti eyes Champions League final against AC Milan

Carlo Ancelotti wants Paris Saint-Germain to take on AC Milan in the Champions League final and is confident of not losing his job at the French club.

Paris Saint-Germain coach Carlo Ancelotti has said that he wants his side to play against his former club AC Milan in the Champions League final this season.

The Italian was the Rossoneri coach between 2001 and 2009, and led them to European Cup triumph in 2003 and 2007.

"I'd like to play against AC Milan in the Champions League final, not in the next round," La Gazzetta dello Sport quotes Ancelotti as saying.

PSG are currently fourth in Ligue 1 with 26 points from 15 matches, and Ancelotti admits that his side need to improve.

"This project is ambitious, PSG have history behind them and it would be amazing for me to help them win something," said the 53-year-old. "However, I'm not happy with the way the season is going [in Ligue 1] and neither are the club owners, although they did reassure me.

"There are so many expectations around PSG and consequently rumours too, but rumours do not always point to the truth.

"I have a strong rapport with [PSG director of football] Leonardo and never feared I would be sacked. We've lacked group spirit so far, but that's normal considering there are 15 new players."

PSG will host Evian TG in Ligue 1 on Saturday.
