Paris Saint-Germain could reportedly let Angel Di Maria leave for free in the summer, although the Argentine is keen to remain at the club for one more season.

Paris Saint-Germain attacker Angel Di Maria could reportedly leave the French giants at the end of the season.

The Argentine has remained an integral part of Mauricio Pochettino's team despite the arrival of compatriot Lionel Messi, registering three goals and four assists in 16 Ligue 1 outings this term.

Di Maria is due to become a free agent in under six months time, but PSG do possess the option to trigger a 12-month extension, and the 33-year-old is thought to be keen to remain in Paris.

However, L'Equipe claims that PSG are now 'not so certain' about keeping Di Maria on the books, even with fellow attacker Kylian Mbappe also expected to leave in the summer.

The report adds that Di Maria wants to stay at the club for one more season before returning to his native Argentina, but PSG could very well let him depart at the end of the current campaign.

Di Maria has amassed 91 goals and 115 assists from 283 appearances in a PSG shirt, winning four Ligue 1 titles and four Coupe de France crowns since making the move from Manchester United in 2015.
