Thiago Motta "happy" at Paris Saint-Germain amid Napoli rumours

Thiago Motta will not be moving from Paris Saint-Germain to Napoli in January, according to his agent.

Thiago Motta's agent has insisted that his client is content with life at Paris Saint-Germain in the wake of talks linking him with a move away.

The Brazilian midfielder has been the subject of speculation about a move to Serie A outfit Napoli in January over the past number of days.

Despite Motta's previous experience in Italy, his representative Alessandro Canovi has quashed the rumours.

"There is absolutely no truth in it," Canovi told Napoli Calcio Live. "I know the reality of Napoli, but there has not even been a conversation about it.

"We also have to consider that a player like Thiago would not fit into the plans of certain clubs that have particular salary parameters.

"Thiago Motta is happy in Paris and, although he still hasn't signed a new contract, the rumours which are circulating are without foundation."

Motta has previously played for Genoa and Inter Milan.
