Neymar reportedly held three-hour showdown talks with Paris Saint-Germain on Monday as both the Brazilian and the club attempt to resolve his future.
The 27-year-old did not join up with the PSG squad for pre-season training last week, which led to the French champions condemning the South American via an official statement.
Neymar's father has since insisted that the Ligue 1 champions were made aware that the forward would be linking up for pre-season late due to his commercial duties.
Neymar's future in France is far from secure, though, amid suggestions that the attacker is desperate to secure a return to Barcelona in this summer's transfer window.
According to Sport, Neymar held three-hour talks with PSG on Monday to discuss his future, where he is believed to have reiterated his desire to leave ahead of the 2019-20 campaign.
The former Santos youngster then did not train alongside his teammates after the meeting and will reportedly not be involved in the team's pre-season trip to Germany.
Earlier this month, Barca president Josep Maria Bartomeu claimed that PSG would not sell Neymar this summer.
