Javier Pastore's agent has revealed that his client is close to agreeing a contract extension with Paris Saint-Germain.
The ex-Palermo midfielder has earned rave reviews for his performances for Les Parisiens this season, which recently prompted Eric Cantona to label Pastore as the best player in the world.
Pastore's agent, Marcelo Simonian, has told Get French Football News that he is "90% sure" that the Argentine international will extend his stay at the Parc des Princes next week.
However, Simonian has refused to be drawn on rumours that Pastore will agree a deal to stay with PSG until 2020, claiming that discussions are ongoing.
