Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly prepared to negotiate a new contract with Sergio Ramos.
Since moving to Parc des Princes in July 2021, the defender has made a total of 28 appearances in all competitions.
However, half of those outings have come during 2022-23, the 36-year-old having endured a near-disastrous opening season in the French capital.
Ramos failed to make a single appearance in the Champions League due to injury, with just 12 outings being made in Ligue 1, many of which coming from April onwards.
A change of head coach during the summer could have worked several ways for the legendary Spaniard, one of which may have seen him heading for the exit door.

Instead, Christophe Galtier has been reliant on the veteran, who has already made 13 starts and one substitute outing in Ligue 1 and the Champions League this campaign.
PSG have not suffered defeat in any of those fixtures, and it now appears that Ramos could be rewarded for his growing influence in the dressing room.
According to Le10Sport, club officials are now ready to sit down and discuss fresh terms with the centre-back.
As it stands, it remains unclear whether Ramos will be receptive of talks at this stage with the player focused on attempting to earn himself a call-up to the Spain squad for the World Cup.

Furthermore, the Real Madrid legend may have offers from other continents if he chooses to let his contract run down, including from the MLS.
PSG are already in a position where they need to discuss the futures of another star as a matter of urgency with Lionel Messi also due to be out of contract in the summer.
While PSG would prefer to extend the contract of the Argentine superstar, Barcelona are heavily reported to be monitoring any developments.
Messi is said to have little intention of discussing his future until after representing Argentina at the World Cup, which begins in less than a month.
