Paris Saint-Germain are yet to open contract talks with their all-time leading scorer Edinson Cavani, according to a report.

Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly not yet opened contract talks with experienced forward Edinson Cavani.

The 32-year-old has scored 195 goals in 283 appearances for PSG in all competitions - including twice in four outings at the start of the 2019-20 campaign.

Cavani will see his current deal in Paris expire at the end of the season, though, and David Beckham's newly-formed MLS outfit Inter Miami have been linked with a swoop for the South American.

According to L'Equipe, PSG have not opened talks with the striker over a fresh deal, suggesting that the capital giants are preparing for life after the former Napoli ace.

Cavani, who has netted 48 times in 114 appearances at international level, is PSG's all-time leading goalscorer having surpassed Zlatan Ibrahimovic in January 2018.

A number of Premier League clubs have been credited with an interest in the former Danubio youngster during his time at Parc des Princes.
