Ivan Rakitic and Sergio Busquets are to sign new Barcelona contracts after informing Paris Saint-Germain that they are not interested in a move, according to a report.

Barcelona pair Ivan Rakitic and Sergio Busquets are reportedly close to agreeing fresh terms at Camp Nou after rejecting interest from Paris Saint-Germain.

PSG are rumoured to have attempted to lure both players to the French capital this summer to strengthen their central midfield ranks.

Marca reports that the midfield duo are happy at Barcelona, however, and they will further commit to the Spanish champions by putting pen to paper on new deals.

Barca have signed Arthur and Arturo Vidal since the end of last season, but Andres Iniesta left the club and Andre Gomes was allowed out on loan to Everton.

Rakitic started 31 La Liga games last season and academy product Busquets 30.
