Roma are reportedly planning to tempt Paris Saint-Germain with a loan bid for playmaker Javier Pastore when the transfer window opens in January.
Pastore has struggled to hold down a regular starting spot in the French capital this season, making eight appearances in all competitions so far.
With the World Cup looming large, Roma want to offer Pastore a Serie A return in a six-month loan switch, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.
The 24-year-old has previous experience of dealing with current Roma sporting director Walter Sabatini as he worked on the move that saw him sign for Palermo in 2009.
Sabatini is now poised to make an offer for the midfielder if PSG are willing to consider letting Pastore leave on loan, with Juan Manuel Iturbe also said to another transfer target for the Giallorossi.
