Queens Park Rangers winger Hogan Ephraim has revealed that he is eager to force his way into Mark Hughes's plans for the new Premier League season.
The 24-year-old spent last season on loan with Charlton Athletic and Bristol City after he failed to make the club's 25-man squad.
However, Hughes has given the former England youth international the chance to prove his worth during the pre-season tour of Asia.
"I come back every year and just want to impress," he told the club's official website. "The manager gave me a new deal last season and told me to impress this summer.
"That's what I plan to do. Hopefully I can get some minutes out here and impress him. I want to do as best as I can and hopefully give the manager something to think about.
"If it doesn't work out, it won't be for the want of trying. I'm going to try my hardest to force my way in and hopefully that will be enough."
Ephraim joined Rangers in 2007 from Colchester United.
