Queens Park Rangers goalkeeper Robert Green has paid tribute to teammate Richard Dunne for his dominant defensive performance in Saturday's 2-0 win over Burnley.
The Irishman managed to keep in-form Clarets hitman Danny Ings quiet throughout the victory at Loftus Road, and Green says that his contribution did not go unnoticed.
"Dunney is fantastic to play behind. As a professional you maybe look for different things than a fan would in terms of reliability and consistency and Dunney certainly has that," he told The Mirror.
"If the ball's coming to him, it's going to get cleared. He can seemingly block shots that other people can't. He's fantastic in that respect."
Harry Redknapp's side moved out of the relegation zone and now sit 17th in the Premier League table.
