Chris Ramsey wants QPR stay, but admits nothing is 'set in stone'

Queens Park Rangers boss Chris Ramsey insists that he wants to keep his job as manager, but admits that nothing has been 'set in stone'.

Chris Ramsey has insisted that he wants to remain as Queens Park Rangers manager next season, but has admitted that a new contract has not yet been signed.

The West London outfit are seven points adrift of safety in the Premier League with just three games left to play.

Despite the club's predicament, reports have claimed that QPR intend to appoint Ramsey, who replaced Harry Redknapp in February, on a permanent basis.

"We have had discussions before, but nothing has been put in concrete at the moment," Ramsey said in today's press conference. "There is still the rest of the season to be getting on with.

"I am hoping I am going be here, but we have not put pen to paper and put anything in stone yet. A decision is going to be made at the end of the season, but I am hoping it will be me at the helm. We have not put pen to paper yet."

QPR will face Manchester City away on Sunday.
