DJ Campbell insists that he wants to stay at Queens Park Rangers, despite making just 11 appearances for the club since 2011.

Queens Park Rangers forward DJ Campbell has insisted that he wants to remain at Loftus Road.

The 31-year-old, who has made just 11 appearances for the club since signing for them in 2011, has doubts surrounding his future following their relegation to the Championship.

"I want to stay," West London Sport quotes Campbell as saying. "This is my team. I'd absolutely love to stay and help them achieve things that I've dreamed of achieving on a personal level and what we should be achieving as a team. But this is football and it's not that easy. Sometimes you have to assess all your options."

Campbell spent the final stretch of last season on loan to Blackburn Rovers.
