Adel Taarabt claims that he wants to stay at QPR, despite rumours of a possible move to Paris Saint-Germain.

Queens Park Rangers playmaker Adel Taarabt has revealed that he wants to stay with the Premier League club.

The 23-year-old Moroccan international has recently been linked with a move to big-spending Paris Saint-Germain.

However, he now hopes to stay at Loftus Road beyond the final year of his current contract.

"I want to stay at QPR," said Taarabt. "I have received offers from other Premier League clubs, but my deal is signed until June 2013 and I want to increase the contract.

"My agent has a document from the club about their long-term project, and it's very interesting to me."

Taarabt joined Rangers from Tottenham Hotspur in 2010 for around £1m.
