Reading manager Nigel Adkins has insisted that he is hoping to "surprise" Arsenal by not revealing any injuries issues with his squad.
Adkins takes Reading to the Emirates Stadium on Saturday for his first game in charge at the club, and the former Saints boss is willing to try anything to gain an advantage over the Gunners.
The 48-year-old told reporters: "Normally, if someone is injured and it's obvious they are out then it is no good saying they'll be fit. We need to somehow come up with that element of surprise and that's what I have to utilise.
"Next week it might be totally different, but today, I think it's wise to keep all of my cards close to my chest."
Reading are currently seven points from safety in the Premier League table.
