Report: Reading to sign Kwesi Appiah on loan from Crystal Palace

Reading will reportedly sign striker Kwesi Appiah on loan from Crystal Palace before tomorrow's emergency loan window deadline.

Championship side Reading are reportedly on the verge of signing Kwesi Appiah on loan from Crystal Palace.

The 24-year-old Ghanaian forward hasn't played for Palace since the start of last season, most recently scoring eight goals in 23 appearances on loan at League Two side Cambridge United.

According to the Croydon Advertiser, the Royals will complete the deal before 5pm tomorrow when the emergency loan window closes.

Appiah's last competitive action was at the Africa Cup of Nations when he scored once in four appearances for beaten finalists Ghana.
